The Camoins operate a Paramount Services franchise in and around Christchurch and have 18 staff servicing 15 sites including bank branches, shopping malls and Government offices.
The judges said their success seems largely the result of careful analysis of what makes a good business as well as a focus on further improvement, better practices, and development. “They show they are thinking of staff needs, client needs and growing at the same time.”
Two other Paramount Services franchisees were finalists in the Business to Business category.
The judges said Bernie and Peter Campbell and Feona Sheard – who have a Paramount Services franchise in Wellington and Palmerston North – had skillfully developed their business by utilising the experience gained from previous employment with Paramount Services.
“Experience coupled with the building of a sound and loyal employee base have contributed considerably to the success of this business. Overall, an excellent submission.”
The judges also complimented James and Sarita Rao who have a Paramount Services franchise based in South Auckland. “Well done to a hardworking and dedicated franchisee who has developed sound relationships through quality workmanship.”
